ABRIL 2021. In Paramérica, after five successful years in the citrus industry characterized by the export of fresh fruit, we are completing the last steps of a demanding certification process for the production of organic lemons.
This process has been carried out at our Adela farm located in Arcaria, Tucumán. It has an area of 30 hectares, with a production capacity of 500 tons. In compliance with the requirements of the International Agricultural Organization (Organización Internacional Agropecuaria, IOA), among other things, we have completed the planting of three consecutive seasons with organic methodology, a condition that enables us to receive the certificate of “exportable organic product” for both the European Union and the United States.
But the novelty does not end there: we aim to start producing organic lemons this year 2021 and, in addition, to enter with these products in the “industry” business, more precisely in the production of oils and juices.
