MAY 2021. In Paramérica, even after 30 years of experience in the international market of vegetables and cereals, we are still excited about a new bean harvest with excellent productive and commercial perspectives.
This time we estimate a volume of between 12,000 and 13,000 tons. This production is part of our strategic alliance with Agsof S.A., from Salta, with whom we are part of Grupo Anta del Plata. The harvest will be carried out in the 20,000 productive hectares that this company has in Joaquín V González, province of Salta.
As usual in Paramérica’s production planning, more than 80% of the production corresponds to black beans, an emblematic product for our company. Paramérica is one of the world leaders in the commercialization of this product.
Black beans, conventionally sown, are mainly exported to Brazil. Also to Central American countries. On the other hand, the United States is one of the main demanders of organic black beans, which is why Paramérica has NOP certification to be able to enter this important and demanding market.
This crop also includes beans such as haricot beans, red beans and cranberry beans. All three are destined for export.
As usual, the production will be picked up in the field with our own truck fleet and then transferred to our Processing Plant, in the province of Tucumán, where we have four production lines with capacity to process up to 300 tons per day and all the resources to solve in an integral way the export logistics to countries all over the world.
