DECEMBER 2021. The construction of the Belgrano Cargas railroad detour to our plant is progressing steadily. We have made progress in the leveling of the land, the laying of rails and the construction of a bridge to overcome a geographic feature of a channel derived from the Lules River.
Other investments accompany this project: special crane for moving and loading containers, scale for weighing wagons and a larger stock of containers.
This work represents a very important added value for all Paramérica’s customers, since it will allow us to load directly at our Processing and Collection Plant, thus reducing time and logistics costs. We estimate that this detour will be operational by mid 2022. In addition, our Plant already has Customs and Senasa offices and scales authorized by the National Institute of Industrial Technology (Inti).
